Summer is the best season to embrace some make up free time. A sun kissed tan is everything we need and we are good to go. Of course a good skin care is vital but frankly that’s something we should focus on throughout the whole year, right.
Usually, during summer months I wear barely any make up. I like my make up routine to be super easy and effortless. If I want to doll myself up a bit, my go-to product is a nice bronzing powder. I use it to contour my cheekbones and my jawline. Sometimes I also use it as an eyeshadow. That makes the all over look fresh but natural.
My must have products are a black mascara and an eyebrow pencil. I always use a lash curler before applying my mascara. It’s the easiest way to add some natural curves to the lashes which opens up your eyes instantly. Perfect eyebrows are vital to a fresh look as well. Due to my teenage years (I plucked my eyebrows a lot) I have really thin and gappy eyebrows. Thanks to eyebrow pencils I’m able to conceal it. So no make up look without eyebrow pencil and mascara.
I like my lips to be au naturel. Therefore I just use a shiny lipgloss during summer. The wet lipgloss look makes my lips appear fuller but in a natural way. Exactly how I like it.
