Why I love supporting others – especially women

Supporting others has always been something that’s near and dear to my heart. Whether it’s offering a helping hand or simply being there when someone needs it, I believe in doing what I can to lift others up. There’s a special kind of joy that comes from seeing someone succeed, knowing that you were part of their journey. And when it comes to supporting women, I’m especially passionate about showing that girls can do anything.

Throughout my own academic journey, I’ve often found myself in male-dominated spaces. When I studied math, there were very few girls in my class. But the lack of women didn’t mean that we were less capable – it simply meant we had fewer peers who shared our experiences. Now that I’m studying law, another field where men are often the majority, I’m reminded once again that it doesn’t matter whether you’re male or female. What truly counts is your brain, your passion, and your determination.

This is why it’s so important for us to support each other, especially as women. We have to break the stereotype that certain subjects or careers are “better suited” for men. It’s about showing up for one another, encouraging each other to chase dreams and dare to take unconventional paths. I want to inspire other women and girls to believe in themselves and their abilities – whether it’s in math, law or anything else they choose to pursue.

We should never tear each other down, belittle, or laugh at others’ dreams. Instead, we should be each other’s biggest cheerleaders, celebrating every win, no matter how small. Together, we can prove that success doesn’t depend on gender – it depends on how much you’re willing to believe in yourself and take that leap of faith.

Let’s continue to build each other up, because when one of us wins, we all win.
